I just found out about a group that is planning on reading foodie books in 2016. Since I love culinary mysteries and of course cookbooks I have decided to join in this challenge. If food is a major part of the plot then it counts, fiction, nonfiction, cookbooks, etc. There are several levels to choose from to challenge yourself:
Short-Order Cook: 1 to 3 books
Pastry Chef: 4 to 8 books
Sous-Chef: 9 to 13 books
Chef de Cuisine: 14 to 18
Cordon-Bleu Chef: More than 19
Or if you don’t want to commit to one of these you can choose the a la carte option.
Reviews will be posted on the Foodies Read 2016 site. Good way to see what foodie books others are reading and maybe find something new to read. You can sing up or find out more information by visiting:
