This weekends Mimi Thorisson’s recipe is Harvest Soup from A Kitchen In France and what a wonderful fall dish it was. My daughter and son-in-law just had a new baby, our first human grandchild. I took a week off from work to stay with her and spoil her and my new grandson. For lunch one day I made a half recipe of this delicious soup. I was a little surprised that daughter and I loved it so much since neither of us are big fans of cooked turnips, but they went well with all the other ingredients.
We loved the garnish of fresh chopped tomato, garlic, parsley and olive oil. Our baguette went bad so we toasted some leftover hamburger buns to dip in the delicious broth.
